To commemorate International Volunteer Day, on December 5, the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) launched an activity, to mobilize women and their families to participate in women's volunteer services, through which women and children would benefit from more heartwarming services.
Women's federations, at all levels, will organize delegates to the 13th National Women's Congress of China, women's federation cadres, members of the executive committees of women's federations, March 8th Red-Banner Holders, women's pacesetters, and members of five-good families to join the women's volunteer-service teams.
The volunteer services will be aimed at caring for women and children in need, and caring for women who still stick to their posts during Spring Festival and other major holidays.
The volunteer services will also focus on strengthening guidance on young people's perspectives on marriage, childbearing and family.
The activity will continue to be rolled out throughout 2024.
